Blithe Spirit. Catch the revival of Noel Coward’s musical comedy “Blithe Spirit” with Angela Lansbury. The play centers on a successful novelist who hires an eccentric medium to hold a séance. His dead first wife appears unexpectedly and sets out to ruin his current marriage. Shubert Theatre, 225 W. 44th St. (212-239-6200).

Mourning Becomes Electra
. Director Scott Elliot brings Eugene O’Neill’s trilogy “Mourning Becomes Electra” to the stage. The play looks at the intense familial conflicts of a New England household at the end of the Civil War. The New Group at Theatre Row, 410 W. 42nd St.  (212-279-4200).

Basile. Improv expert Basile entertains at the Gotham Comedy Club. Basile’s voices and characters have been heard on a variety of radio and television channels, including XM Satellite Radio and the Cartoon Network.
