Have you ever seen the local NYC show Profiles? Several of the episodes are filmed at the Hotel Wales and we are a featured sponsor. Mickey Burns interviewed legendary film actress Leslie Caron last Friday night. In 1958, Leslie became America’s Sweet- heart with her lead role in “Gigi”, a film that won 10 Oscars, including best picture. And in 2007 she once again proved her acting prowess – winning an Emmy Award for a guest role as a rape victim on “Law And Order: Specials Victims Unit.

On Tuesday June 8, 2010, Hotel Wales will help celebrate one of the best NYC events of the year – The Museum Mile Festival. This free festival spans 23 car-free blocks on Fifth Avenue from 82nd Street to 105th. Hotel Wales is positioned at 1295 Madison Avenue, directly in the midst of the Museum Mile action. Nine Fifth Avenue museums will open their doors from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and live bands will perform in the streets.
