It’s good to know that even the superhuman Material Girl can enjoy a good slice of New York pizza. On last night’s Late Night episode, Dave insisted that Madonna try a slice of New York Pizza – an indulgence the pop queen had supposedly never tasted.
Despite protests that she “wasn’t a cheese person,” Madonna and Dave strolled down to the pizzeria next door and grabbed a cheeseless slice and and…wait for it….. a martini.
While we find it hard to believe that Madonna never, ever had a slice of pizza with all her years in NYC, we always enjoy a more natural, everyday view of this muscle-y pop superhero.

Rumor has it that the world’s biggest star has purchased a townhouse right here in our little neighborhood. Madonna’s new 26-room, four-story Georgian townhouse sits quaintly at 152 East 81st Street, between Lexington and Third Avenues. What’s the rumored price for this new UES Pied a Terre? How about something to the tune of 40M? That’s quite a bit more than any other property has ever sold in this area, but it’s Madonna…are we really surprised?
The mans also includes nine fireplaces, an elevator, wine cellar with a grotto, paneled dining room off the garden terrace, library, 38′ by 22′ drawing room with tall south windows overlooking the garden and two-car garage. You heard me mention a garden terrace, right? There’s an amazing 3,000-square-foot garden surrounded by rhododendron, roses and tall trees for the pinnacle in luxurious privacy.
Those staying at Hotel Wales might want to stroll by pretty soon, as you might catch a glimpse of the Blonde One as she takes up residence in Manhattan once again.
