The VMAs will return to New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on September 13th for the first time since 2006, with last year’s controversial host Russell Brand once again serving as the MTV Video Music Awards emcee. The British personality is best known for his stellar performance in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but was considered a huge flop at last year’s VMAs. I guess we will all see what happens this year.
First-timers set to perform at the 2009 VMA’s are British alterno-band Muse, and country-pop tart Taylor Swift. This year’s VMA’s are a bit more interesting – as this show marks the 14th year they have taken place in the Big Apple.
